Why Sober Juice Crawls Are about to Become Your New Best Friend

Posted in Halfway House, Recovery, Sober Living on May 30, 2016

There’s no argument over the fact that staying sober is certainly not the easiest thing in the world.

However, with the recent surge of sober socializing and juice crawls, navigating your way through recovery during your stay at a halfway house in Florida just got a lot easier.

After all, just because you no longer use does not mean that you have to stay locked up in your house with no friends. Millennials are proving that is actually quite the opposite by using sober juice crawls as a healthy way to deal with stress.

Not everyone who goes on these sober juice crawls had to stay at a hallway house in Florida in order to figure out they wanted to ditch the liquor. A majority of millennials jumping on the sober train simply want “real, authentic relationships” and want to stay “centered and calm to appreciate the day.”

One sober millennial, June Zhang, revealed that, “I just feel like you have deeper conversations with people when you’re not distracted by drunkenness.” Another advocate of sober juice crawls, Ryan Fischer,” shared that, “At night my dad has a couple of whiskeys and my mom has a Pinot Grigio and they lull into the night. I just don’t want to do that.”

The best part about sober juice crawls is the fact that you can have them anywhere. All you need is a menu, a map, your friends from your halfway house in Florida – and you’re good to go!
